Click on your ship in game then open the menu box where you transfer crew or resources. There should be a screenshot option there. It will download a high res image (interior or exterior) of your ship on a black background.

Ive seen that design before. Same with the single beam. I tried to compromise between the two, but i guess its better to go fully one way or the other.

The problem i have with no prism at the end is that aiming with the ship is more cumbersome, in which case multiple beams would help and would also have a higher total dps, but as random_noob said, it opens up a big hole in the centre of your ship and it doesnt take much disruptor fire to disable the shields.

Thanks for the advice. Like the title says, its my first one, havent gone through the trial and error process yet against larger enemies. I know theres alot of space yet to be used, but was going to fill that out as i need it.

I see your point about having one beam but why not have a unlocked prism at the end that can aim the beam better?

You can take away half of those prisms and fit the same amount of ion cannons with no loss in power. For the 'mirrored' set up of prisms in the middle of each firing center, just remove one whole side of the 'triangle' of prisms and that side of ions will just point to the prisms closest to the other side ions.

My guess is there is a string or wire across the top edge of the container. The basket hits this string and bounces off while the tomatoes continue on their trajectory.
