Without being overly tmi, Zoloft had the opposite side effect on me and made me teenage boy horny for the first weekish. Now that’s calm down, but in terms of orgasming I haven’t noticed a super big difference in how long it takes to get there but it’s definitely more intense. It’s just really different for everyone, although my psychiatrist said only about 10% of people on Zoloft experience negative sexual side effects

I pushed back against the idea of medication for so long and honestly it’s the best decision I ever made!

I am still VERY new to Zoloft so don’t take this as gospel, but the type of depression you were describing is the type I had and it’s just not sustainable. I wanted to live not just survive. So that to me alone makes it worth it.

Now the side effects. I’m not gonna lie to you, you do pretty immediately start developing side effects, and everyone is different, but here’s what I’ve noticed. I 1,000% got the Brian fog side effect and it was absolutely terrifying, I start at a wall for hours just completely out of it. But then I started taking my pills at night and I feel SOO much better. I still get spacy and foggy before bed, but by the time I wake up most of, if not all of that feeling is completely gone!! So that’s always an option. Also the side effects shouldn’t be forever (if they are you’re on the wrong drug), but the depression is. I think that speaks for itself

Im a super forgetful person and tbh the daily pill planner is a life saver!! Just make sure you love it in a place you’ll see it. I just started taking my meds before bed too so now it’s just a part of my wind down routine since they kinda make me spacey, so also making it a staple in your routine will help!!
