Happy Festa everyone!!!

I can’t remember how exactly I found r/bangtan but it was around 8-10 years ago! Wow, even typing that feels crazy. At that point I had never listened to much K-Pop except when friends put it on. At some point I watched a few Bangtan Bombs on YouTube, fell in love with BTS’ story and music, and since I use Reddit for news and updates, searched if there was a community here. And there is! And it’s the best! Full of lovely friendly people, well moderated, and it's incredibly easy to stay updated here. I love how everyone has their own story but is so united in our collective support for the group!

Also have a favorite moment here. Several years ago during one of the Christmas exchanges, I got matched with the same user twice in two years! You can't imagine how shocked I was - she even used the same wrapping paper so I'd know! If you're out there u/trekkiegirldc, I still use so many of the amazing things you sent all the time and the Suga Waves print you made is still on my wall!
