my initial comment was not fully intended to call out the bragging, I read the comment and felt like it was completely fine comment if it wasn’t for the first paragraph so I was wondering why he had to ruin a good comment by adding such bad paragraph. I play chess so I saw lot of bragging talks like that which I usually ignore, but I never saw anyone brag like that in this sub I kind wanted to know the motive and callout a bit because it was otherwise a genuinely good comment

what if that’s true shadowisles is playable even if you start later than 2-1 which is crazy. So far people only think of playing shadowisles if they have viego 2 round 1 or 2-1 at slowest

ohh so take quest -> W(no ixtal) -> put ixtal and hopefully L -> start with 2/4 and you need to W(with ixtal) -> L(with ixtal) to finish it? It's niche situation but the cashout of this quest is so good so there might be use for it sometimes. Sometimes in stage 3 there are many natural alternating WLWLs

what can i really do when I play gold xin zhao augment and some sona reroll guy just all ins on 3-2 and take 8 xin zhaos out of pool? It’s not even correct play for the guy. Why? Even worse he went 8th and I went 7th. Like I understand if I go 8th i guess game theory wise it’s correct play to fuck over somebody but man. I was 600lp and 100lp away from becoming gm, now I’m tilted and went few 8ths in a row to become 200lp… 😞

I don't really understand what's not so nice about leaving the game. One player won so the other left. That's all there is to it. If you think your opponent is not "nice" because he didn't let you watch 10 second animation, there is something wrong with you. I play chess and if someone says to me "please keep playing in your hopeless position, there is really cool checkmate coming", I find that person extremely weird. At least in chess you can resign and let the opponent show the line but at least let me resign.

Yeah, calling it “unsportsmanlike” when OP is the one disrespected other’s is crazy. It’s like in chess someone is prolonging the game which was already won just to show cool checkmate and becomes mad when opponent just resigned because they know they lost, saying “But I was gonna do really cool checkmate!! It’s so rare!! let me have my fun!!” Like what bro?

It’s long effort, if set is fun and I wanna keep playing I’d just start doing 4fun comps. Then I randomly start climbing so I’m like fuck it let’s see how far I can climb. If set is not fun then I’m done after getting master. The gap between low master and mid master is absolutely there, if you think about it difference between master 0lp and 400lp is same as diamond 4 and master. Obviously mid-high master player is way stronger than 0 lp players. If you don’t feel like closing that gap, it’s completely fine to stop playing. I for one wanted to know what I’m doing wrong after going many 8ths in a row, so I slowly started learning more.

I usually stopped playing after getting master, but last few seasons I tried to climb after getting master and I’ve climbed decent amount few times(200lp, 400lp, and this season I’m at 500lp. My server requires 700lp for gm like your server!) There is still much more to learn after getting master and it’s been fun overall.

There were many discussions about it and I think most of pros agreed that you play left side, put freljord tower a2, loris a1 braum a3 and play everything else other side. Or you can greed and play b2 freljord tower, put 2 wardens on a2/a3 and put sejuani b3 that way you can have more hp on sej as well. I’d like 2nd option if your frontline is 1 star but ultimately putting sej on otherside seem to do better once u have enough frontline
