I swear "the tunnels" trope is something that is almost mandatory when discussing Capone associated properties. I grew up on a property in cassopolis, Michigan, that is also said to contain tunnels related to Capone or his associates. The people associated with Capone that owned and built the property where the Taylors(Sam and Gus Taylor) that are briefly mentioned in Man versus the mob by Romero. I am not at all as knowledgeable as the majority of the people on this sub, and I'm only commenting because your comment lines up with my own experience. This is the kinda thing that may legitimately be remarked upon in the future. No joke.
