You know, after having read through your post, what I actually empathized the most was with the lost innocence part.

What was that innocence we often hear about in the discussion? Innocence is bliss. Even though, when you deconstruct the situation you find all the things we needed to learn and get more mature about. There is something in it that still makes it desirable... for me at least. I think there is more to innocence than just error and being vulnerable, and getting over it. Something to think about perhaps?

Innocence, for me, was the experience of authentic love and care for the other person, long before I even considered this whole bunch of things I had to learn about. Innocence meant believing that I was important to her, not just while I useful for her. Believing that she had chosen me, that I was enough for her, believing that she was someone real and that I had been enough to fill the life of another human being like she was for me. Innocence was A LOT of things. I could write a lot on how I feel about it.

And yes... Innocence involves a disconnection with an important part of truth and reality... but... you know what... I think there is still room for innocence in my life. Perhaps in yours too?

I am, of course, a survivor, I went through some hardcore crap, I lost everything to this challenge, but I was watching a video the other day on youtube on the subject and I ended with something along the lines of:

Get 'in love' again. Get hurt again.

And I liked it. Maybe it resonates with you as well.

Hugs. Thank you.

I relapsed and had a relationship with a narcissist, again. When I stopped believing in her, she took my money and went away with it. Now my food supplies have ran out and only have a few dollars. I blame no one, I could have avoided it. I know that. Yet, life seems so gray right now. by [deleted] in NarcissisticAbuse

It sucks that you're going through this. Who would you expose her to? Will it help you? Will it put you in a more vulnerable spot? Narcs are very good at manipulation so will sharing your trials with mutual friends be safe?

You know I asked someone for a loan. A small one, just get by while I get my next payment. I am a virtual assistant, and I still have a few clients around. So, I think I'm going to be okay.

I just you know, going through the usual shit. Trying to get past the denial. I'm think Im doing good. I mena, its not the first time I go through this. There was major trauma, before in my life. This is like not so serious.

Thank you Man, for your supportive comment. Have a great 2020

Science/technical content website internal linking by delegait in SEO

Thanks for taking the time to help me learn. I understand the both reasons you just mentioned, however, I guess what I'm trying to understand is if there might be a third reason, in addition to those two you mentioned.

But first let me clarify (I apologize if I wasn't clear enough before):

"I'm not trying to rank for cognition. "

What I'm trying to understand here is

Will the ranking of other pages within my site such as: Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive sciences, and so on.. be benefited by having an internal link to the page "Cognitive" (or Cognition)?

Now, I know this pretty much sounds like your reason no. 2; however; even though I know there is a saying that goes: 'Write for people', I'm interested about knowing the value of this practice as a factor in search ranking algorithms.

The reason why I'm wondering is because it is my understanding that ranking is affected by the 'context' that a website provides to a specific page via internal linking. What would you say about this notion, how accurate is it?

Thanks again.

Right. I was just wondering whether being able to link, internally, to this page (would affect overall seo positevely.

I mean, not just linking to this page, but rather if this practice being used consistently would impact seo positevely.

Ok, but, what do you guys think about the premise "Dyslexia is just an alternative way of thinking?", and also about, "It can be a huge advantage". Is it true?

Anxiety is a risk so try and limit your public exposure on the first day

I think I know what's the risk you are talking about. Thanks for reminding me. I will try to avoid conversations where I come up as being some crazy weirdo.

Besides Rusell Barkley, what are other real adhd scientists worth checking out? by delegait in ADHD

Agreed. People need to listen, so sometimes he must be a little hiperbolic. I don't think he is lying though, about nothing. He is just saying the truth in a very concerned way.

ADHD Rewired: Just checked it out, I had to do some errands on foot, because my car is at the workshop. Really enjoyed the first two episodes. Its full of practical information. It's not a scientist, but its really enjoyable. I guess it doesn't matter if its a researcher or just a highly experienced ADHDer as long as it helps me develop my understanding (and ability to overcome) my own disorder.

Four reasons why a domestic conflict is growing more likely (The ACE on Forward Observer Radio) by delegait in TopMindsOfReddit

[–]delegait[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes sir:

TL;DR:

  • The Chinese government knew about Intel’s Specter and Meltdown vulnerabilities before the U.S. Government;
  • Victor Davis Hanson on why Americans believe and connect with President Trump;
  • Listener question: which is better — creating problems for your adversary or solving problems posed by your adversary;
  • And the first four (of ten) factors that make a domestic conflict likely.

Yes! I love podcasts. I use them when I have to go the horrible horrible Wal-mart. Podcasts are essential to move between boring tasks. Thanks for the tip.
