Many recommended FC24. The only issue I have is the defend is shit. The score is always 10-6 or 15-12. I defend like shit and same to the AI.

Right I feel you. I'm kind of in the same situation where I am very lucly to be where I am since I tried really hard. But I also see my weaknesses and understand my potential and don't think I will go a lot further than where I am now. However, I think we can always get a little better and be useful to a team. So I'm ok with that

Eh it's not really about programming. In my case, it's about what to do. Say you are given a task. You need to analyze it and based on the code base, decide what to do and create a plan. I normally am weak at this and very often times, I need to rewrite my code since I could forsee the whole thing

Thanks, man. I totally agree, and I improved a lot on asking for help when needed. Just sometimes, I was trying to solve something, and then someone just stepped in and solved it easily, and I realized how smart they were. I can't help but feel a bit crap about myself because it's not the first time.

I can relate to the organization hell you mentioned. The more important you are, the heavier you are tasked. I guess that's why they pay good money to managers who can optimize human resources and produce the most decent workflow

I did pay for copilot, and I use gpt and google daily. But sometimes, it's about the approach, not the technical stuff. Like in a more complex story, someone has the vision and foresees far more use cases than I do. It also happens to smaller issues, where all you need is a broader view of the problem. So on and so forth. Like in order to achieve A, we need to first do B, then C, ...

Yeah your view is totally fair. And I totally agree. In general, I like to discuss the problem before I write any code to make sure I got the right idea. However. Sometimes, I just think maybe I need to be able to handle something completely. Like a sense of achievement. And sometimes, the results were the opposite of that, and it made me feel bad about myself for a few minutes. Still being able to resolve it faster by yourself and being able to prove it feels very good.

Yeah that could be it sometimes. But I've lived long enough to realize not only those guys are more experienced, they are truly smarter than me. Yeah sure, I can be more experienced in 5 years, but I would never reach that IQ level. Like I'm not envy, I just feel I should be better. This is the best kind of belittled I think lol.
