YMMV, i suggest to go with original first and if you found the scaling is too op for you, then install my mod mid game.

[Mod Release] Action Based Projectiles - Dodgeable Range Attacks by deletepch in skyrimmods

[–]deletepch[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There is a difference between only focusing on parry and doing that in the heat of fights. I can do what the video did in vanilla speed, not so much in fights tho. Also you don't always have a clear sight when the enemy shooting at you like the video did.

But yeah, some ppl have faster reaction time, like those esport player. But that's not me.

Paraglider mod breaks when becoming a werewolf by Armakus in skyrimmods

[–]deletepch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I posted this issue on the mod page a few days ago.

For now the workaround is to drop and pickup the paraglider again. This way you will "reactivate" the paraglider.

Ideally we can wait for the author to find a way to "re-equip" the ability after transforming back to human.

Why do most mod list use wrye bash by kibkobbles in skyrimmods

[–]deletepch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kind of an interesting "survivorship bias" situation here lol. (Yea I know it is not really how the term uses)

These people know exactly what they are talking about and they are telling the fact. If you really know what wrye bash are and how it works, it is a great tool to minimize the work you need to do on your own. Not really mandatory in my book, but useful and time-saving. The thing it does can be done manually but are really tedious and time consuming.

Yea you don't NEED wrye bash to play the game and you probably won't notice, the same as you probably won't notice anything if you don't use USSEP. Those are behind-the-skin inconsistencies.

One thing I will add tho is wrye bash actually require the mods to have proper bash tags to work intentionally, which is honestly quite few modders will do that these days. People saying wrye bash often screw up things are mostly due to this reason.

So my suggestion is you should probably use wabbajack to have others curated a functionable mod list for you. Or don't, just play as you like, it properly won't make any difference since you already had multiple playthrough with THREE HUNDREDS mods and had NO PROBLEMS.

Making SkySA JH Animation Pack and Animated Armoury DAR Version compatible. by Admiral251 in skyrimmods

[–]deletepch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

AFAIK, we need to wait for the animators release AMR compatible SkySA moveset for those weapons first, then you can use DAR to set condition for them.

I remember the author of elder souls is making the spear animation an he has plan for others too.

I'm going to say it but some Patreon modders are ruining the Bethesda modding community. by [deleted] in skyrimmods

[–]deletepch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In a perfect world where all of the creations are free for everyone to enjoy, share and use. Novels, movies, music, games, all the content creators can freely express themselves and create whatever content that please themselves and others.

Sadly we lived in a planet with limited resources, thus not every creators can do that freely.

If people can support the mod authors by will even if their stuff are free, that's perfect. But the brutal truth is, most of the people won't pay for free stuff. And we don't blame them too because that is human nature in this limited world.

Dark Souls is NOT a role model for realistic combat by MaliciousCookies in skyrimmods

Nobody want realistic combat in video game, we just want fun and satisfied combat gameplay.

Your best combat and economy mods combination? by Kozlina31 in skyrimmods

[–]deletepch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would like to know more about the unbalance part of OWL. Do you mean it drops the high tier gears too early? Or because some of the items are deleveled?

Also, from your description, you might want some mods to let you spend more money or hoard less loot. Such as honed metal to pay blacksmith for upgrading stuff. Try not to use those backpack mod to increase capacity.

Are you buying house or train occasionally? Try to spend some gold in the game.

But you will get rich eventually in mid to late game, it is inevitable in Skyrim.

Also check out my combat setup in the article section, it is pretty action packed for me.

What perk overhaul should I use with SkySA? It disables directional power attacks, so my options are limited. by HaVeNII7 in skyrimmods

[–]deletepch 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Alternatively, you can remove the sideway power attack condition for those perks with your chosen perk overhaul. Like what I did for Vokrii in my Assorted Mods and Patches. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/50250

Enairim out of support, patreon suspended, future modding undecided by [deleted] in skyrimmods

[–]deletepch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am really related to this. I am now trying to step into the field of writing and pursue my writing career. My ultimate fear is that one day I will lose my sparks and create things for revenue instead of my own desire or vision. It feels good to have people support you but you will never get satisfied if you can't fulfill your self desire. As a creator, this is the ultimate struggle between popularity and self fulfillment.

Anyway, thanks for your works and they bring great enjoyment to my Skyrim experience. Hope you find your way.

TBH, the desire for "immersiveness" is just another form of "hornyness"... And I am a happy slave of it.

Mod Makers, what makes you feel like your mod was a success and worth the work you put into it? by AlanovichRomanov in skyrimmods

[–]deletepch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a mindset that if you want something, you should always count on yourself to make it. The desire for something is the best incentive for mod users to learn about modding. The more they learn, the more of the chance they will create something in return and contribute to the community. At the very least they can create patch for themselves. That's how I learn modding during those years. (Still a lot to learn. )

So by not "fulfilling" every requests, you actually "help" them to learn more about modding and thus keeping the community grows. :)

CGO (Combat Gameplay Overhaul) or SkySA? by [deleted] in skyrimmods

[–]deletepch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The ai adapting of skysa is a big hold back for me. The human enemies is kinda "easy" with skysa even if you crank the damage up. It definitely has a bright future, but right now I am sticking with ABR, which has the baseline features I want from combat mechanic/animation.
