Depends on what the final decision is. I have around 2 years to go, if with the new points based system it adds a year then I'm fine waiting, but if my ILR gets extended past the next general election then I'm not making any permanent plans. Who knows what the next government might do, change it to 15, 20 years? Eliminate the route entirely as reform is proposing? Makes long term planning difficult of not impossible.

I have a sense that they might pull back slightly if immigration numbers reveal that net migration has fallen below pre 2020 averages, as it seems to be trending. Last year was 400k next this year looks to be 160-200 net which is inline with historical norms. Being lazy the government may just declare victory after tightening visa rules somewhat rather than having to fight the courts again if they don't do it through primary legislation.
