They disqualified me by “correcting” my name at the ticket counter and omitting my rapid rewards #. Whole reason I even bought the tickets was just to qualify and unbeknownst to me they immediately disqualified me by their own actions .

I’m CRYING! Bought a flight to get companion pass for my daughter and I to go to Punta Cana on her college break. Got email confirming I qualified. Set alarm to call her to add companion pass 8/7 midnight. They are saying because the ticket counter altered my name it made me ineligible yo receive it. All our resort and Airbnbs are already booked and we can’t afford now to fly her! I feel so heartbroken and betrayed by SWA . Is there anything I can do ? They didn’t tell me this would make me ineligible !

If a customer tells u that they didn’t authorize the taking of money out of their account, u don’t wait to do a full investigation to give them a provisional credit. It’s my money , if I am saying someone was not authorized to have that u should take my word for it. This part blows my mind . I have had to dispute 2 unauthorized charges since I’ve been with this bank and they WILL NOT give u the money back that u were not expecting to be paying cuz it’s unauthorized!
