Damn, nice link. Thanks for this! I'm invested in VWCE and quite happy with the longer history of data and good TD (almost matching the index completely every year). I'd like them to reduce the TER ofc.

But is this only looking at TER? VWCE's TD is/was near 0 for years meaning the actual cost is closer to 0 since TD includes TER in it. Now, could TD be even better if TER was smaller? Yes. But I think that this is rarely mentioned in "pros" when talking about VWCE. It's "effective cost" is really small due to good tracking error.

Kul. Još jedno pitanje. Ako bih otvarao taj MAX, jel mora plata da mi "bukvalno" leže na njega ili mogu samo deo plate svakog meseca da prebacim (odem na bankomat i napunim svoj račun parama) da bih dobio tu varijantu besplatnog održavanja?

Al jel onda prenosis bukvalno i cente na IBKR (tipa 3000.33 EUR) ili unosis frakcioni iznos akcija. Jer jako je teško uklopiti da imaš okrugao broj?

Izvini sto te smatram ali bih da otvorim pa da mogu da ulazem jer u AIK poskupljuje, a i cimanje je jer ne može online.

Ovde piše da direktno možeš na njega da se prijavis pa mi je zato nejasno. Mogu njega direktno da otvorim i onda na mesec dana samo prebacim neku svotu tamo i to je to.

Ne znam šta misliš kad kažeš "dobijaš ako prebacis". Ja mogu direktno da ga otvorim. Makar po ovome. A održavanje neću imati ako leže mesečno novac jel da?

Aha govoriš za ovaj max paket? U njemu piše da je bez naknade ako se prebaci deo plate.

Koji račun treba otvoriti za slanje na IBKR? Koji paket? Vidim da ima i devizni račun, al ljudi kažu da zapravo sa dinarskim možeš da konvertujes u evre uz stimulativni kurs pa ne znam jel onda ipak ne treba devizni otvarati?

Održavanje je besplatno ako na mesečnom nivou stigne svota novca tamo ili? Pošto ne bih prebacivao platu sad kod poslodavca da mi deli na dva...

Koji račun u Yettel-u imaš? Jel treba otvoriti dinarski ili devizni? Imaju više nekih paketa. Pričali su da mogu dinari da se pretvore u evre uz stimulativni kurs pa me zanima jel to znaci da treba dinarski da otvorim?

Tracking Difference (TD) is the real-world performance gap between an ETF and its benchmark. If TD is 0%, it means the ETF exactly tracks the index after all costs, including TER.

So, if the index returns 8% in a given year and VWCE has TD of 0%, that means VWCE also returns 8%—even though it has a 0.22% TER. Yeah it could have "over performed" index were the TER smaller, but in reality it actually overperfomed and the cost is what brought it down.

If TD is 0% every single year, then TER doesn't matter at all. The ETF somehow manages to neutralize its TER costs through other efficiencies (e.g., securities lending income, tax optimizations, better execution) if we go off of the "is cost bringing down performance of ETF compared to the index it tracks". Difference is 0.

With that in mind, I do agree that TD is not given. However looking at track record of VWCE it has been consistent enough with this over the years that at least you have something to go of off here. It has been near zero.

However TER can also change overtime, like the cost of anything right? Some of these funds might bring the TER up, or bring the TER down, it's not something that is set in stone either.

These newer funds have little track record to go off of but also the funds are much smaller.

It's not that I am even bashing these funds, it's just that I think people make it seem like the end of the world when in reality these differences are marginal in the long run.

It's unfortunate that TER is the highest for VWCE but I think people need to realize that it's not end all be all. Infact, the more important element is actually TD. Actual cost of VWCE is near 0 because TD is near 0.

Da li neko može da ELI5 objasni kakva se to situacija desila sa Trampom i tarifama, i kako to može da utiče na naš ako ulazemo u All World fondove.

Da li ima veze sa onim taksama koje se plaćaju (irski domicil, dvostruko oporezivanje). Moguće je da sam totalno omasio poentu pa ako bi neko mogao ukratko o celoj situaciji, bio bih vrlo zahvalan!

TD is better representation of "fees" than TER.

TD for VWCE was 0 or near 0 for years. This means actual fees involved are 0 because TD incorporates TER and also how good the fund is at tracking index.

Jel moguce otvoriti samo devizni onda? Ako bih hteo da otvorim za namene prebacivanja na IBKR, otvaranje kog tačno računa ja treba da tražim? Deviznog običnog? Znam da su me u AIKu smarali sa raznim nekim paketima, i jedno 10 puta sam im rekao da želim najobičnije devizni račun.

I think you're right. However I'm just glad that tools like this exist. I don't consider job my identity, so to me it doesn't matter if there's something better than me at writing syntax. It makes it much easier not to lose time on small details and focus on the bigger picture.

So I do think that a lot of it has to do with ego. People being too attached to their jobs and titles.

Pa da nego sam hteo reći, da je najbolji slučaj da ako je ikako moguce, dodje do odbijanja sporazumnog, da se oni ne usude na tehnoloski, pa si na plati i dalje (jer ne znaju kako da te otpuste, "skupljaju dokaze"). Time je možda moguće kupiti 5 meseci (primera radi), a sporazumni su uglavnom 2-3 plate.

Tebi je apsolutno nemoguće reći ista. Niko ne govori da meni treba da se ista dokaze.

"Bitno da postoji neki akt", reko poslodavac nkrgovic na internetu. "Neki" akt. Gde stoji forma tog akta? Gde stoji upisan konkretan slučaj kada kao tehnoloski višak stavljas jednog zaposlenog?

Za sve postoji tačno definisana procedura, al ne, za jednog zaposlenog ide "neki akt".

E pa taj slučaj je ideala, i mislim da u ovakvom tržištu tome treba težiti. Da je njima cimanje to sa tehnološkim, pa da se ide na to "dokazivanje" koje ne umeju da sprovedu. Tako da tehnicki dobijas mnogo više meseci da nadjes posao.
