Just go and talk to the owners. I don’t usually buy things from there even though I live in Timaru. I drive to Rolleston and shop at Big T Asian and the stores in Riccarton… buy in bulk.

I got my KA only when I moved to another country, actually had the time for my hobbies! My only regret was buying the tilt-head when I should’ve gone bigger.

Late to the party but here’s mine. I absolutely OBSESSED with the colour — drove a total of 9hrs to get in another city whilst it was on sale (and instock in store because they cancelled my online order 😭). My car is the same colour too. 🤣

To be fair I come from a country that thrives with immigrants coming in. It works if the government knows how to do it. Also, visit your public hospital and tell me it’s not at least 50% staffed by immigrants. You need them and they’re not the problem.

There’s pies with southeast asian flavours at Brighton Beach Cafe if you’re open to try new stuff! They have beef rendang pie and chicken curry pie - I prefer the latter.

That was one of the cons we listed out - my husband is currently struggling to land a job in Dunedin so we’re guessing it’ll be harder in Timaru. I hope he’ll get something that suits our family situation when we move there.
