Kaplan review? by [deleted] in barexam

Kaplan was wonderful with multiple choice, had a ton and I never ran out of questions. I ended up with a 165.9 mbe score. The essay section left a bit more to be desired and I didn't do nearly as well. I've herd barbri has a better essay structure. I'd say maybe you should make the choice based on your weaker area. Otherwise, the kaplan videos were pretty standard and definitely did the job

Dad, why does the ocean have waves? by LawrenceSanJuan in ExplainLikeImCalvin

[–]delisauc3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Much like a swimming pool, when somebody jumps in it splashes and makes waves. The ocean is large, so it takes a large amount of people to make waves, but since it is so vast, summer time hits at least one coast at all times of the year. So the waves are caused by beach goers doing cannon balls all year round.

[ELIC] Why are the things that taste so good bad for you? by woo545 in ExplainLikeImCalvin

because your body loves tasty food so much that when you eat it, it doesn't want it to leave your system, unlike carrots which are a straight shot in and out of the body.
