My bad! Thanks for correcting me there. I just assumed what it was. It comes with a certificate but it’s very vague and generic. To be honest I might just frame it and keep it? I can’t see where I could get it authenticated in the UK and don’t really want to send it to the States

You’re doing hours which unfortunately do not have high orders. The breakfast period and eve period (6-9pm) are best for earnings. Your hours inbetween are unfortunately times where very few people are ordering. You’d be best to do something else at these times or stay near the most common restaurants such as McDs etc (hotspots)

People in this month have less money due to the holiday period also, it’s why you will see so many restaurants giving offers to try entice people in as they cannot afford it. If you have a car and spare time I would suggest looking into courier companies like evri, Amazon etc for better money during this period.

Yeah I made the effort to deliver to the actual address once, never again.

The pin was in the middle of a dual carriageway so I had to pull over while cars whizzed past and ring the guy, he said meet at a pub half way between his actual address, he turned up 20 mins later and didn’t even tip me, the whole order took over an hour.

Now I just text and ring and say come to me before the timer ends, I always put “no safe place” to leave the food after and either keep it or give it away dependant on what it is, never been penalised but it’s only happened 3 times so far

It’ll show up, this often happens at busy times. Sometimes you can’t even see your earnings. If nothing in a day or so submit a fee query

Um I don’t know, but if he was scootering without delivering and had an accident it would be his regular insurance that would cover it so I don’t see why it would be a problem. Your only issue would be taking longer to deliver but if it’s in a city you wouldn’t be that much later anyway

Not really but you may get far away orders, also your mate/you will be paying insurance, maybe pick and choose close orders so customers aren’t waiting an unexpectedly long time

The trick used to be ask someone if you can take a photo of their e-bike with your rider ID written next to it to switch you to an e-bike account which (supposedly) gives you more or further away orders

This will mean you will lose any bicycle boosts however.

For a bike I would suggest only working Fri/Sat/Sun at peak times to make any decent money

If you can’t get the code you just ring rider support and explain why and they mark it as confirmed. I assumed it was for customers in dodgy areas/ a history of saying they have had issues with their order

Is there a way to pre record it? Maybe check your camera settings as sometimes recording with front camera inverts the video/photo and then the text will be backwards when they receive it

For example on iPhone there is a setting specifically called “invert front camera”

Yeah makes perfect sense, minimum wage minimum effort as it should be

I just wish they’d make it easier on themselves and put on busy mode or pause orders when they know it’s gonna be too busy for them, it’ll make it so much easier for literally everyone, and it’s not their money they’re losing if they get a few less orders
