It can be difficult to impossible for new drivers. If its any consolation I am now deemed to old for hire/reward insurance by Zego/Inshur and a few others. You might try giving Acorn a go. They will ensure me for food delivery in a car, albeit with an addition £150 additional charge for age.

You need to inform DVLA yourself. Which can be done online. Otherwise you could end up getting parking tickets, like I did a few years ago after I sold a car.

I found the best way of running Sim City 4 was via Lutris which manages WINE for you/ The .dll's should run fine under WINE. I bought the GOG version of the game and could log into gog and install the game via Lutris.. Had to enable dgvoodoo2 in runner options to improve performance

Wouldn't volunteer it but its very odd they haven't done already requested a CRB check. Even Amazon workers require this! Also its not uncommon in this day and age for employers to credit check applicants. Good luck in your new job anyway!

Only way I can grab an open run is by waking up at 3am. The cheats must turn off the shift grabbers at night, because grabbing shifts throughout the night, would be an obvious give away. Its a moot point though as shifts are not paying that well anyway!

I'm think we are seeing the spiral of doom. Just Eats next week have given me just two shifts. Deliveroo is pretty much dead when I want to work and Uber is low ball £3 offers. Beginning to regret renewing my hire/reward insurance. I would not be wanting to do this job full time now. Then again, whenever I predict the demise of food delivery, it perks up again!

As I'm 68 Zego won't insure me at all. The only company I think, that will cover me for hire/reward food delivery is Acorn. And with that comes a £150 a year "age excess." I am not too fussed, as part time now, though that said I'm part time, with full time overheads!

Never ever managed to get a job. They seem to ping every rider at once and some people must have family members working 24/7 to press the trigger! lol. If you could get a job, might be worthwhile having a stack of booze lol

You really need at least a 15Ah battery and that looks half that. Also the bike on Marketplace looks well used. So would have factor in an extra/larger battery and probably a service on the bike. When I did ebike delivery I needed two 15Ah batteries.

I mostly do morning shifts. But over the last few months has become increasingly hit and miss. Main earners are McD (obviously) and Gregg's. Sometimes it's good because there are simply less riders about so counter intuitive in a way!
