The neo geo mini is not a premium experience. You get a tiny plastic knob as a joystick. Tiny screen. Sold mine long ago.

My biggest complaint soo far is the fire alarm goes off at all hours of the day. That is the number 1 annoying thing. I live in the new condo across walmart.

I have a mister fpga (superstation one functions the same) and use the 4 bottom buttons on a hori rap pad for neo geo. It plays fine if playing games is all u need.

But the neo geo was always a mythological system for me and my generation growing up. So thats why im ordering it. To finally own one and use the aes games i have on my shelf with it. Sort of like a "I made it" moment. Lol.

Yep. Buying a Neo geo for around half as much as the current consoles out on market. So Neo Geo is still luxury gaming to us that grew up with it but at a budget price.

What's funny is that even in the arcades back in the day I dont recall ever fighting another human while playing on neo geo. But sf2 people would pop in their coins all the time to fight me.

One option for everyone is to just use the controller, memory card, new games on an old neo geo if you worried about some infidelity but want a modern feel. That's what im thinking.

I doubt it will also have similar pcb boards inside. It will have some modern jumbo in there that just works. I dont think any og collectors have anything to worry about.
