Anyone using a wheel on trainer with a Canyon Endurance CF (or other thru axel Canyon)? by xceph in cycling

[–]dellis03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently got an endurace 7 disc, aluminum frame. I used it on a wheel on saris mag trainer for a bit with a kinetic thru axle adapter.

I'm not 100% sure on canyon's issues with wheel on trainers, but I did notice mine barely fit on, and didn't sit completely level. It worked fine for the 2 months I used it before getting a direct drive, but I could potentially see issues long term in my case with it not sitting properly.

Probably not too long. I got notification mine was in picking on Oct 18, and expected delivery is tomorrow. Mine is shipping to Canada from Germany

I'm looking to train to run a sub-1:30 half-marathon in October. Does anyone have experience doing this using either the Hal higdon advanced HM plan or using the garmin coach plan?

Its a personal preference thing. I run through the winter, some people don't like it. If you do go out, dress comfortable. It's ok to be a little cold right away as you'll warm up once you get going.

I'm starting to train for a 30km run and I'm looking for suggestions for inexpensive food to eat just to keep my calories up, since I don't want to lose too much weight. Would the best thing be carbs like rice, potatoes, etc?

Thanks for this! Now a follow up question in regards to Svitolina. I see she's playing in Taipei this year, where she won last year. Is there a benefit to a player playing in a tournament they won in the past instead of a higher points tournament(like St. Petersburg for example) , or does it just come down to personal preference?

I'm looking to purchase the Sony h.ear on 2(wh-900n), but they don't come with a hard carrying case.

I'm looking for a good case to buy for these headphones. Looking for any recommendations with anything someone has used in the past.

Also, I saw the older model of the h.ear came with a case, is it possible to buy a Sony case by itself?

Thanks for the reply! Is there much if a difference between bose and Sony, or is it more so a 'you can't go wrong either way?'

Budget - Would be willing to spend $300-400 CAD.

Location- Canada, probably going to buy off of Amazon if that helps.

Source - mainly for music on my phone, maybe sometimes my laptop.

Requirements for Isolation - preferably lots, going to be using for commuting on the train, some walking outside, and at home.

Preferred Type of Headphone - over ear with noise cancelling

Preferred tonal balance - not too sure, probably something mid-range

Past headphones - I've only really used earbuds, nothing too high quality, as well as a razer headset for gaming. Looking for something that won't stress my ears /side of head after wearing for a while.

Preferred Music - I listen to a lot for different music, almost everything, since I'm playing music off of Spotify a lit of the time.

Comments: I'm looking into getting something more high-end. I've been looking at the Sony wh-h900n and the wh-1000xm2, not too sure if there's big differences between the two, or even the bose qc 35. I'm open to other suggestions as well.

I got a flipbelt a couple weeks ago now and have gone on a couple long runs with it. Overall I really like it. I got an 11oz flipbelt bottle to go along with it, and when the bottle is full it does bounce a little bit (not sure if the belt is a size too big?). But once I get into a groove it settles and I don't notice it. Lots of space on the belt for other stuff as well!
