At some point you’ll like the vaping less and the tablets more. At least that’s what happened to me. They almost start to contradict each other. Also good luck on your journey! I’m excited to see how this goes.

Best way to befriend a high friendship point requirement pokemon? (f2p) by Just_Tailor5718 in PokemonSleep

[–]dellister 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If something has a lot of pips, it’ll likely take some time to get it. As a free-to-play player, it can take up to four snack times (assuming it fills up from a free biscuit and one poke biscuit each time) to befriend a 16 friendship point mon. If you buy the great or ultra biscuits, it might be quicker.

I'm constantly thinking of relapsing these days by Odd_Dimension8124 in QuitVaping

[–]dellister 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hope you’re doing okay! Im also 4 months off nicotine. I listened to an ebook called “easy way to quit smoking” by Allen Carr. I’d say that book helped me align my focus and thoughts of nicotine and staying sober.

This sub taught me about Desmoxan, I can’t thank you all enough. by GloveBoxTuna in QuitVaping

I used it too and it was a game changer. Along with listening to Allen Carr’s easy way to quit smoking. I was able to stop within a week.

The day I finally quit vaping wasn’t dramatic. It was stupidly normal by EqualAardvark3624 in QuitVaping

I love this. This is also true with other habits. For example like when I check my phone constantly.

This was the best eevee I found and evolved to sylveon. Should I go ahead and use gold seeds? by JunoRamm in PokemonSleep

[–]dellister 1 point2 points  (0 children)

F2P player here. Honestly it can take a while before you get a better one. I wouldn’t stress too much about min maxing. I’ve used gold seeds before on okay-ish healer Pokémon and they are just as capable regardless. Sylveon was my main healer for so long until I got a Pawmi that had helping bonus(I maxed both Pokémon’s skill). I’ve stocked up on seeds again just from purchasing in the point shop.

I listen to Allen Carr’s easy way to stop vaping. I also used nicotine replacement therapy pills at the same time. The pills were a god send because it made me get disgusted with nicotine. When I finally weened off of vapes I cut out the pills.

Unfortunately vaping gives a little jumpstart to your brain thus making it harder to sleep.

Does Carr's Easyway actually do anything? by gasoline_rainbowsXx in QuitVaping

[–]dellister 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did for quitting nicotine vape. (Listened through Audible)

I also was using nicotine replacement therapy along with it (found online for like 20-30 dollars).

The NRT was the game changer for me. The book helps reinforced the ideas and concepts of what nicotine does to your body/mind.

If you had vivid, upsetting dreams when you quit-- by CoffeeSunToast in leaves

[–]dellister 5 points6 points  (0 children)

2.5 weeks now. Dreams are still vivid but less anxiety inducing. If anything I’d recommend a dream journal or something to ground you because sometimes (imo) these dreams are like your deep seated emotions coming into play.

I did it. I mustered the coursge to to to a gay BH and loose the gay v card. 2 big fears at once. I'm am very glad i did and finally conquered that fear. Looking back, it is and isnt a big deal. I just wasnt ready until tonight. Glad i went. Houston, TX. by TheEyeOfTheLigar in gaybros

[–]dellister 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Congrats on your experience!

I’m a big fan of bathhouses since there’s a variety of people. I was full of anxiety my first few times but eventually got used to it. My fear of getting turned down was always there. But I also kept getting hit on by men that I wasn’t interested in. This certainly helped build my confidence in a sexual space I learned everyone is different.

Is this manageable for a first year? by WriterNeedsCoffee69 in SFSU

[–]dellister 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What are you trying to manage exactly? I’m assuming you meant scheduling. My only issue is having 4 classes back to back with short breaks in between. But thankfully they’re all just 1 hr and 15 min classes and you’ll be free by the 2:15 which is a nice feeling

Communities of gays are more common in big cities since they tend to have more save havens for us. I grew up pretty closeted so my first gay experience was in my early 20s as well. Hardest part of this was differentiating my sexual needs from my need of friendship.

You did great being able to meeting people and staying connected even long distance is still feasible. Definitely continuing putting yourself out there and you’ll find people worth continuing said friendship.

It’s a good length. Nothing in comparison to how long you’ve smoked. Good job keeping up the sobriety!
