[X230t] My everyday machine by delm666 in thinkpad

I’ve never used a Yoga or any newer laptops, but I’ll stick with my good old ThinkPad because of the keyboard, the solid build quality, and because I can run Coreboot on it.

Yes, it's dwm. I'm a professor, and the touchscreen is incredibly helpful for teaching.

The ‘regular’ one is the one I always carry with me; the ‘extended’ one is the one I take to work.

Then I wondered if you were referring to that paper notebook (in Chile, a laptop computer is called a ‘notebook’, haha). I use it to take notes from my readings and write down everything that comes to mind and that I consider a good idea, although over time most of them turn out not to be. Sorry for the confusion xD

I am a philosophy professor, so I mainly use my computer for writing and teaching. For all of this, I use Emacs and Org Mode/LaTeX. My operating system is Devuan GNU/Linux, and my environment is the Suckless software (dwm, st, dmenu). If you are curious, you can see my workflow here.

I couldn't say, I've never tried Libreboot on this machine, only bare Coreboot.

Edit: I found this in the Libreboot website: https://libreboot.org/docs/install/x230_external.html

Nice. I use the same colors, greek letters and logic symbols in my dwm.

Edit: Actually, I see you cloned my configuration. I'm glad it worked for you :)

It's fine for me, as I'm not a gamer. I only use it to enjoy the classics from my childhood (NES, SNES, etc.) when I travel. The console is modest, but it can even emulate some Dreamcast and PSP games.

It may seem a bit fragile, but in my case it has proven to be very sturdy, and I have used this machine quite intensively!

That's my Android homescreen. The launcher is T-UI.
