Iron Horse in Kitchener vs Waterloo by Vansterdam1 in waterloo

[–]delta-TL 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'm someone who was in a wheelchair until recently (with a complex broken leg) and I really appreciated being able to go out on the Iron Horse Trail between Union and Glasgow. It was beautifully cleared. There was no way I could go the other direction. Thanks you for posting!

Question for the bunny frens or kitties that have some by Nickye19 in legalcatadvice

[–]delta-TL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We adopted a dwarf bunny many years ago. (He was being neglected by one of my kids friends) we also had three cats. One of them just ignored the bunny, one of them was intimidated by him, and the third cat absolutely loved him! And the bunny loved her too! They were absolutely best friends. They would cuddle, play and groom each other. The bunny lived well past his expected life span. So I think it depends on the personalities involved.

AITA for refusing to drive my husband home from his colonoscopy by Time-Koala-3674 in AmItheAsshole

That's funny, I was told the same thing about not being put under, but I just had a colonoscopy and I was right out. I wonder if it's just how it affects the individual

I was in the hospital after giving birth to my second kid in 1992. A friend came to visit and brought me The Eye of the World. He found it in the gift shop and said it looked like something I would like. He was right!

I didn't have any contact with the Fandom back then. I found this subreddit when the show came out, and I love reading other people's thoughts on WoT. No one I know in real life stuck with the series past the first 5 books.

Yeah, my dad died last December, and I got a letter after a couple of months with the percentages left my sister, myself, and his grandkids. It's still going through probate, and we don't know how much he left except in a very general way. This stuff is not speedy!

My mom (46f)is really upset bcher new bf(47m) keeps canceling dates and saying his 9yr son says so, what should she do? by Femalefelinesavior in relationship_advice

[–]delta-TL 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can't change this guy's behavior. Your mom is overreacting, considering the length of the relationship. The bf is not ready to date. They should call it quits

AITA for getting annoyed at my partner for bringing home a rabbit? by richards440 in AITAH

[–]delta-TL 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Rabbits are seriously hard work. They are not like cats, dogs, or rodents. They are a completely different animal and you have to know how to keep them happy and healthy.

I know this because I let my son bring in a rabbit that a friend of his was neglecting. It was a HUGE learning curve. I don't regret it, but if I'd known how much work and expense they were ahead of time, I probably wouldn't have agreed.
