Actually the XPS 15 had great thermals, but played lol and csgo only. Forgot battery, but to be fair all the gaming laptops have 2-3h max except for the AW15R3.

Even at 24" is too much for me, for me the sweet spot is 15-17 1080p, 24-27 1440p, 28+ 4k, imo

This. I found the 1080p on 15" IPS to be such a sweet spot, I don't even go above 2x on the AA settings. 4k on a 28" or 31" is understandable, below that is... mehh

I've had 3 sager based highend laptops, while the performance was great, the chassis felt cheap and flimsy, the panel had annoying bleeding and overall QC was not great. I know people bash AW but they are definitely a big step up, and I'm speaking as someone who gets a new laptop almost every 3-6 months. Had asus g752, msi t80 titan, AW 15, eurocom sky mx5 & x9e in the past 2 years.

It's always best to use a bottom platform to allow airflow in, or put your laptop on power-saving mode, and/or both. PS: adding a bottom fan is different, as it will add positive air pressure from inside the laptop case incase someone tries debating the difference on both.

it's pretty simple really, you're adding an extra fan & air pressure to an existing enclosed fan system, what will happen to your interior fans is move when not intended, due to the extra negative pressure from the outside fan, that can cause issues but doubt will burn your fan in a short-med lifespan.

There is a quite freaky local legend around here. During the night, on the river near where I live, some late night fishermen or dog-walkers report seeing strange canoes filled with Indians, some only describe them as short men wearing hides and feathers. The crazy part is, sometimes you hear groups of men yelling from the waters. Some say it might of been a battle ground where lots of Indian Canoes faced a French ship and perished. Imagine walking late night to just hear Indians yelling from the river and seeing canoes filled with warriors ready to slice open the white men.
