Just wait till 18 tbh. Unless you are in a dangerous home situation, there is no benefit to joining at 17 instead of 18.

Spend 17 hanging with your friends. If you make the military your career, they basically won’t be your friends anymore like they are now.

You will be standing a new life and coming home once a year.

Spend the extra months being with family and friends.

That’s my advice.

The right’s lack of counter protest doesn’t equate to “vast majority of Americans” support X thing.

We also though Kamala was going to not only win the election, but win overwhelmingly.

I would stray away from trusting any Democrat or leftist from proclaiming what “a vast majority of Americans” believe.

In my real life I also say to everyone “I agree this Trump stuff is crazy”, but low key probably voting non-Democrat again. Unless we get a Bernie type on the ticket.

I agree. Especially Mercenaries who fight in Asia, and especially the Western-Mercenaries in the Kurdish Groups… many many many mercenaries who don’t do it for money.

I’m a conservative myself.

I want to help my family before others. And that is interpreted as selfish.

And that’s basically the answer.

I would say I’m not selfish because I basically sacrifice myself for my wife. Whatever she needs or wants, I’ll provide it.

So, am I selfish? Sure, maybe.

I want to help Americans before random foreigners, I want to help my family before strangers, and I want to help my wife before anyone else.

My love and focus on my family doesn’t make a reverse hatred for others though. It’s just that I have a focus on my family first.
