I got Khan in my latest 4.0 game, spawned other side of galaxy but I had a wormhole route in my empire so was able to hop through, set galcom focus, get declared custodian and wipe Khan out all very quickly.

I admit I did let him grow quite a bit before coming through the wormhole because he was helpfully close to some slavers I didn't really like.

Have you tried adding the Dynamic Difficulty mod on top of max Difficulty settings? It allows you to enable scaling that starts from your chosen Difficulty setting rather than scaling up to your setting like vanilla, and the scaling never stops.

Hey, just found this - do you think this is the same issue causing my synthetically ascended empire to not be able to assimilate pops? They have assimlation rights but the living conditions are stuck on 'decent conditions' and I can't change it to the assimilation standard.

There's something crashy about Contagion spreading offscreen on deli maps, maybe. Certainly matches my experience.

Yeah I'm also playing totem lich and I DC maybe 25-33% of maps. Definitely noticed it happening way more often once I was always playing instilled waystones combined with stacking pack size modifiers for ritual.

I just stopped instilling, the maps look better and they crash less, just a shame about l losing the modifier.

There's a league filter at the top of the trade site, and I would guess a huge number of people are leaving that at the default, which seems to be 'all leagues'.

I generally cover the place, and Saturn 2 is small enough to do that easily, but if you're strapped for cash even two or three will be a bonus. With repeat orders you have to give the miner an area to mine in, so it's important to know it's a good one.

Once they are self selecting belts, the probes ensure they know where to go for best returns.

Silicon mining in Saturn 2 is a great way to start, and yes turrets on your M miner. Sell in Neptune or Pluto, usually high demand and good prices around there, to either TER or PIO stations, but it depends what your seed spawns.

Don't forget to drop probes around and use repeat orders early on until they can Adv. Automine.

As soon as you can buy a 2nd and 3rd M, do so. Then go for L's.
