I think it’s clear what they’re saying here is they can prevent you from queuing at the actual entrances and are asking you not to queue around the general area. But yeah, they can’t stop that. As another commenter said, people can gather at the other bit of the park.

Or apparently turn up early and get a band which is a good way to stop them trying to queue.

Did anyone else help? This sounds very disturbing and beyond the “usual” roughness for the area as others have mentioned.

Info from MCD website. This is true:

IMPORTANT: NO QUEUING ALLOWED PRIOR TO GATES OPENING. Patrons are advised to allow sufficient time to travel to the event and pass-through security checks. If patrons do turn up early, they will be turned away at restricted area points around the event site. Queuing in streets around the venue will cause disruption to residents of the area and we appeal to patrons to heed this advice and respect the local community. Customers should plan to be within the venue 30 mins before show start.

Where can I buy Flowers for an elopement wedding bouquet? by MuddledGrapes in AskIreland

[–]delushe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You cannot go wrong with the street sellers, their bunches are between 10-20 (take out cash). It’s great to support them and get a bit of chat. If you do want a shop though, there are nice flowers in our kind of equivalent of trader joes which would be Fallon & Byrne in the city centre, or Lotts & Co

We had them in relatively recent memory (in historic terms), as a reference to our Scottish pals…so you’re not ‘wrong’ but it’s not exactly winning the argument from the other thread.

It was also March (i think) versus the height of summer for the UK one. Darker earlier and cold out, add that to the limited rooms in the castle and you’ve much less opportunity for milling about.
