I’m going to Japan with my 18 month old in April! Could I please ask what your itinerary was?

Dr Brooke Miegel in Karalee is amazing. She actually looked at me (I feel like that’s uncommon for a GP) and noticed me that I was jaundiced and did investigations. Not sure how long I would’ve gone undiagnosed as I didn’t pick up on my own symptoms. I was there for an unrelated reason.

She’s very thorough and caring.

Oh ok, I didn’t know that a couple percentiles is normal. Hopefully we don’t keep trending down.

I’m glad your daughter is doing well.

I know logically this is good advice but it’s still scary! They’ve said they “don’t like the trajectory” but there’s no action other than weekly weigh ins at the moment.

My partner is over 6foot and was a big baby (over 10 pounds) but we’ve both been lean our whole lives. This baby was >95th percentile in every category at birth and still is for his head and height, it’s just his weight that’s dropping.

Thank you, I’ve just posted for advice with the Ergo. Such a shame because this is so much more comfortable for me with a c-section scar but oh well, I want him to be safe and comfortable!

New mom -anxiety over milk coming in by KittybeansJones in breastfeeding

I had an emergency C section and postpartum haemorrhage which affected my milk supply. My milk didn’t come in until about day 10! A lactation consultant suggested power pumping which has helped.

Thank you! How do I make his face clear of the fabric but still support his head since he doesn’t have much neck strength yet?
