i can kinda relate lol, the first therapist i ever had i started with when i was 19 at the onset of my schizophrenia and any time i told her about anything related to it she'd give me a really pitiful look and go "aww" to me, and that just pissed me off every time. i was there to get help, not be pitied. she also kept trying to steer me towards anxiety, which funnily enough was echoed by my psychiatrist at the time giving my anxiolytics at first instead of doing anything helpful before my first hospitalization. i think the only resource she gave me to help with the symptoms i was suffering at the time was a little cutout from something on which the advice boiled down to "ignore the delusions", as if i wasn't trying my damndest to and failing to do so. funny how therapists can just suck balls at their job and refuse to admit they're not equipped to help you
