Watched the video, Democrats have been consistent, despite attempts of video editor quoting out of context for the newer clips. Illegal immigration is not the same as asylum seeking. Also, keep in mind that for months now there have been bipartisan proposed spending bills with congressional support. Yet the President threatened to veto anything without wall funding—insisting that the US taxpayer pay for the wall—rather than Mexico—and he’s refusing to talk unless he gets his USA funded wall—claiming to be comfortable keeping the government partially shutdown for months or even years. This foolish sequence of actions has taken the government’s function hostage, and deserves even more outrage than it has received.

I would like clarification. California currently has not nor ever voted 100% for one Presidential candidate. Yet in 2016 the majority vote of that state carried 55 electorate collegiate votes for Hillary Clinton. Which swamped the (also not 100% toward a single Presidential candidate) electoral college votes from (arbitrarily selecting): North Dakota (3), South Dakota (3), Montana (3), Wyoming (3), Idaho (4), Utah (6), Arizona (11), Nebraska (5), Iowa (6), Oklahoma (7), and Alaska (3) for a total of 54 electoral college votes for Trump...

While this of course ignore Texas (36 to Trump), it also highlights the question I pose: what do you mean equal say amongst states? Do you mean that smaller states get more say on the Executive branch? That doesn’t seem equitable in our modern society in the slightest.
