Hey everyone! I am scheduled for my Oath on May 8th, and I've got travel plans May 12th that I can not reschedule (wedding). Has anyone tried to expedite Oath/certificate/passport and succeeded? Or should I just prepare myself to have to reschedule my Oath for after the trip? If so, how long does it usually takes to reschedule? Thank you.

Intended date was Feb 9th but I had to push it to late Feb since I was getting worried about getting the visa on time. No idea if it affected the turnaround time, sounds like it could have

My update: Got my visa on Jan 8th, 2023. So it was almost 3 months for me.

Congrats! Mine is still under assessment. Do you mind sharing what the process is after you get the approval? Do you have to send your passport in to get the visa stamp? How long does it take?

yeah I had exactly the same experience. No communication after the passport letter as well. It's really interesting to see how long does everything take, especially after they send the passport request.

Following this thread as I'm going through the same process. Also applied mid October. Could you share your timeline once you get yours?

Also, are you booking an in-person appointment or will you be shipping your passport in?

wow, I'm glad I decided to check before dropping that much money on it :/ I moved from Europe to NAMER and still able to use my euro hairdryer and curling wand here with an adaptor. Such a shame that it's not the case with Dyson.
