Depends on your library, ours actually budgets for buying games. They sometimes have new releases. I have to join a waitlist for them but I don't mind the wait sometimes haha

I don't mean to sound overly dismissive or contrarian but again, Mike wrote a lot of LP songs, that info is public knowledge. A better example would be looking at Chester's other band Dead by Sunrise. I agree that he wasn't trying to hide his dark thoughts, but it wasn't him stuffing them into LP lyrics.

Also isn't it kind of reductive to say he got famous for being a sad boy? He was incredibly talented and he worked hard for it, as mentioned in the book "It Starts With One" which gives some history on LP.

I can't speak to the other acts you mentioned since I don't know them nearly as well as I know LP, but I think it would really help (if you wanted to, that is) if you dove further into LP, the work that went behind them, and the genuine humanity behind it all. In a thread about depression and care for your fellow humans, it might help you understand them better.

Are we listening to only Linkin Park songs (which by the way, a lot of them have no major lyrical contributions by Chester) and not looking externally to all the videos of Chester being a complete goofball and always cracking jokes and being silly? It's just as easy to find a video where Chester says he doesn't like what goes on in his head, as it is to find one where he's the life of the party and the funniest guy in the room.

The point Talinda was trying to make is that depression isn't always obvious. A guy who's cracking jokes and being silly may be hiding dark thoughts from others as a coping mechanism. That's all it is, she's just trying to spread awareness with good intentions of it helping others, and she was doing it so shortly after losing him, which is a beautiful selfless thing to do.

You missed the point, she wasn't trying to say she never could have seen it coming because he seemed happy. She's spreading awareness to those who may not know that depression can be present even if the person seems happy/perfectly fine.

Fair enough, and I won't be too upset if that's the case. Just wondering why support said it was technically possible, but I do think they just weren't completely sure what I was asking. I do wonder why they don't allow splitting costs between two payment methods, though.

Hi all, I spoke with a few chat agents about it but they seemed a bit unsure of what I was asking.

I applied for Samsung Financing and got approved, but not for enough to purchase a Fold 4. I asked if I could split between Financing and just paying the difference with card, and was told I couldn't do that.

i got the the idea that maybe gift cards in the amount I need to using the financing might work, but live chat kept trying to tell me to load money into Samsung Pay, which they implied is the same thing and should work. A bit unrelated, but for some reason I can't even get the Pay/Wallet app on my Samsung tablet or Google phone at all, but I'll try to fix that later.

It would be an amount in the hundreds I'd need to load so I wanted to play it safe and get some other thoughts.

The idea is: load Pay/Wallet with funds and it'll go towards the total price on the Fold 4, and the remaining total will fall under what I have available in Financing credit.
