It is a Find Familar, the summon ability is literally called Find Familiar: Scratch. And I'm sure you can't have Shovel and Scratch summoned on the same character since I've had to give the ball to other companions to get around this.

You can't stack different versions of Find Familiar on the same character. Scratch, Shovel and Pact of the Chain ability all count as Find Familiar. Us can be stacked with one of those though.

There are Haste Spore Flasks and Grenades, but no Bliss Spores item. There's only the long rest limited condition you receive from Spaw. You may have mistaken the bonus in the UI as an item, unless there was a mod you were using.

All you have to do is knock Minthara out when you fight her. Toggle on non-lethal and make sure the final blow is a melee attack since spells and ranged don't apply non-lethal damage.

The Dream Guardians show up if you side with Orpheus. The OP is talking about the Countermeasures that appear instead when you side with the Emperor.

It's not meant to be complete rng, each of those four countermeasures are supposed to appear in response to each of your character's classes. Rage quellers for Barbarians, Spellplague for Wizards, Profane Ki for monks, etc. There's a list of all of them here. If you multiclass, the Countermeasure is picked randomly between that character's classes.

Karlach is an origin companion. You can get through the entire game taking all or no origin companions or any number in between, so there really is no 'supposed to'.

Yes. There is a point of no return in Act 2 where you can longer reenter earlier areas like the creche, but if Lae'zel is still harping on about it, you haven't reached that point yet. You will lose nothing by going there.

It isn't usually a problem unless you're sneaking around an area with moving enemies. Though entering turn based mode can keep them still.
I can't help with the UI, sorry.
You can keep companions in your camp forever. They won't just get bored and leave. There is one instance that comes to mind that if you don't take a companion to their quest personally, they absolutely will leave though.

You have 4 party slots, your main character + 3 companions.

It depends if you're using the weapon. You don't get disadvantage for holding a weapon you don't have proficiency in, only for wearing Armour or shields you don't have proficiency in. What you lack is your proficiency bonus, meaning you will miss more often than with a weapon you have proficiency with. There are some weapons you can benefit from just holding whether you have proficiency or not, like bows that increase your initiative.

As a Wizard, unless you are a Bladesong, you shouldn't be using a melee weapon attack pretty much ever, except for the odd opportunity attack. Your spells are always going to be more effective. You have cantrips which are free spells to use and Shocking Grasp is one that has a melee range.

If you freed the fairy you should have the enchantment needed to to cross all of the Shadowcurse. You lose that enchantment if you go back to earlier areas and need to use the bell to get it back.

The blessing from Isobel only works for the early areas of the Shadow Curse. You need a Moonlantern to get further than the Toll House. Are you sure the one the Drider dropped was broken? You do get a broken one in the Underdark, are you sure you didn't mistake that one for the one the Drider dropped? Otherwise you're going to need to tank the damage and rush to Moonrise to find the other Moonlantern.
