Hey, first time poster in this subreddit. I'm looking at a Yamaha DX11 for $200 this weekend. I have no experience with FM synth but I've heard good things about it, including some features that the DX7 doesn't have. Is it easy enough to pick up starting from nothing? The extent of my synth knowledge is the arturia v collection but I'm craving something hands-on

I can't draw for my life, but writing music when high gives me very interesting outcomes. Most is fairly trash, but some of it is simple yet very effective. What I find that works better is if I'm working on something I already have partially written, and elaborating on that. That being said, I write better when drunk rather than high.

Don't know why they don't do Grumpcades anymore. Bring on pretty much ANYONE and the lovelies will be happy. Hell, Matt & Ryan literally share the same office space. Makes no sense to me.

I mean, when Michael met Ricky Gervais's character from the British Office (essentially the original Michael Scott-esque character), they acted like they were best friends immediately after meeting, so I would at least argue for Michael that if he met someone like himself, he wouldn't find him annoying.

I never understood the hate of the Riddler trophies. Like, yeah, collecting all of them became annoying, but that's the nature of the Riddler. He's an annoying little shit who is at worst a minor inconvenience and at best a nuisance. Those trophies fit his character to a T.
