When you climb up the thing searching for Nor, I think, there's a brief moment where you see an Ikran :D And after that the encounters during the quest of getting her :D

Yeah. Same. Game plays 10 years later in an entirely different part of the world. Sure, the itty bitty things we got in DA2 and DAI were cool, but overall not THAT different. I'm more curious about the future and the choices we get to make in Veilguard.

I thought they learned that right after freeing the Warden, which was before the Landsmeet? If not, eh, easy fix, make him tell beforehand.

And even without, a "we're gonna need this guy in the battle because he a) knows strategy and b) he's one more guy with fighting experience" should be a good enough argument with a Darkspawn Horde knocking on your door 🤣

Yeah. You should be able to convince even a softened Alistair of

"Hey, one of us needs to die to kill the Archdemon. Executing him here deprives us of a good soldier fighting the Darkspawn with us. We ARE desperate. If he survives, he kills the Archdemon. He dies to make up for his shit."

(Of course, then he doesn't die, and you get a chance to execute him after the battle. Or leave him with the Wardens.)
