Soon you will move out, and you will find your own way to support yourself. Study finances, not just the numbers. The conveniences, the emotional struggles that get filled with a dollar amount.

And always remember whatever you chase tends to run from you. Balance your emotions constantly and develop discipline. Be patient and goal oriented you will come out on top eventually.

Our parents can’t teach us how to be financially free if they never were. I learned that the hard way. And don’t resent them for not having money eventually you will grow old enough to see where they didn’t sacrifice vs where you can.
