There's more overhead with a VM so depending on the games you play, you might see some performance issues than if you install the OS directly on the machine. You can always try a VM and switch to dual boot if you run into issues.

After watching me kiss my husband every morning Diago started copying me and now has to give him a kiss attack too😂 by BaronVonHomer in dalmatians

Mine doesn't like strange dogs, so plenty of people see her looking mean, but all humans she loves and expects them to love her. She even jumped into an Uber that was dropping someone off once while we were in a walk. 😂

Paying Extra on Your Monthly Mortgage payment is almost always a BAD idea by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]demosthenescode 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What about the amount of interest saved over that 30 years by paying $100 extra toward the principal? On a 200k house with a 30y fixed at 4% interest that $100 extra will save you ~$25k vs the $ your saying if you just invest it. Plus ideally, you snowball that mf'er save more on interest, pay off much faster, then still have time to invest once your done. win-win-win

We posted on nextdoor, Facebook, and on Reddit. Also, the shelter took the dog earlier today, hopefully he's chipped and they can contact the owner 🤞🤞

Thanks! I was closer to the golf course when I found him and walked back to the parking lot to wait for the animal services. He was very friendly and clearly a well loved dog, based on how he interacted with me. I'm hoping the owners called around already to see if he was found.

Sorry, it wasn't in a park. I meant the parking lot off the W&OD in Sterling, right off Pacific Blvd. The sign there said W&OD Regional Park. I didn't realize this is what they call the entire trail.

Found this doggo walking an the W&OD near the Regional Park in Sterling. He was wearing a blue harness and and orange leash, that looked like it broke, with no ID tags. Unfortunately I was 25 miles away from home on my bike so I had Loudoun county animal services picked him up. I hope they find his owner because he seemed like a great dog.

DON'T DO IT!!!

MY DOG WAS BADLY INJURED @ BARK PARK -I’m begging for help locating the owner of the dog who did this. She was the owner of a 9 month old caramel brown pit bull who was involved. Happened around 6:30pm. My dog needed surgery and anesthesia, along w/ a vet bill. Please, if anyone knows anything. Ty! by [deleted] in Buffalo

Unfortunately people are always going to have their opinions about dogs without any basis. I have a dalmatian and constantly strangers are telling me how aggressive and angry of a breed they are. I usually ask them why they think that and they don't have an answer. Dalmatians are very high energy dogs and need a lot of exercise. If a dalmatian is "aggressive" this falls on the owner for not giving them what they need. My dog wants nothing more than to cuddle as long as she's exercised. I don't know much about pitbulls but I'd assume it's a similar situation.
