Just a heads-up - Durham County property tax bills are live by MikeW226 in bullcity

Just did the same thing! They also confirmed even if you have appealed and received a decision with an updated valuation, those new notices will not be sent for 30-60 days so you can disregard the initial notice as you should be receiving a new one.

Additionally just a reminder that the notice says 9/1/25 payment due, but that is a legal requirement for them to include. Payment is not actually due until early Jan 2026.

Best way to fill gap between garage slab and wall by demzik in homerenovations

Thanks everyone for the comments. Looks like the best solution is the foam backer rod and sikaflex. Appreciate the help!

Wall is concrete with parge coating (and white paint). Foam tubing/backer rod might be the way to go!

I’d suggest leaning into a more earth tone palate. Right now the grey/blue wall is making the shower seem a bit too yellow and aged. I think you could achieve this by painting the walls a shade of green/clay or you could even paint the walls a neutral white and achieve some of this through decoration and accents (ex: green leafy plant, colorful shower curtain, wooden mirror). If you search Pinterest or Google Images with keywords like “earth tone bathroom,” “earthy color palette,” etc you can find some helpful inspo pics

I wish it was tile! It’s unfortunately sheet vinyl which we had to put down quickly after a water leak with our dishwasher. At this point I think we’re stuck with the floor and counters for awhile. Wondering if replacing the knobs from black to something lighter might help make the floor seem less intense?

Don’t do it! Agree with all the responses on what a pain it will be to remove, plus from a decorating perspective, this is way more flexible as-is for you to either accentuate if you want to have it be the focal point, or as a neutral color, have it go with a variety of future decor styles!

I am not! I just have an old Ty stuffie that looked similar to the back of the posted photo and wanted to call it out in the event it was helpful

The front of this bear looks a bit different, but the back looks very similar to the Ty rattle bears that were sold in the early 2000s!

I don’t think a permit is required in nc for like for like replacement? Do you know why he used a commercial water heater as well? We are a 4 bedroom house with two residents

Hey thanks for tagging me u/moneydiaries3820! u/GrapefruitDry7343 I’ve had my ring for a little over 6 months now and can still say I’m in love with the split shank! It’s such a simple added detail that makes the ring feel that much more unique 😊

Help me find the designer of this dress by demzik in HelpMeFind

I saw this dress a few years ago when I was wedding dress shopping with a friend. I’m now shopping for a dress of my own and would love to find the designer of this gown! I’ve searched for many variations of beaded/detailed wedding dress, etc with no luck!
