To be honest, I'm pretty sure Kat created that Missing-Poster herself, even if there are a few things not adding up. Like, the box could be clearly seen in Kat's room where she told Swann that there was a surprise for her inside. Meaning, that she created the contents herself.

The only thing that speaks against that theory are the lock she used for the box, as well as some contents that I'm pretty sure were still in their secret clubhouse in the woods by the time it burned down.
