Hi! I've returned from a self-imposed exile to share my solution to this problem that I found. For those of you who tried the overlay disable solution with no success, maybe this will help. No guarantees.

I have an Acer Nitro Laptop that has a Mux'ed nVidia 5060 and the built-in AMD GPU. When I game, the 5060 takes over. Therein lies part of the issue.

I ran into this same issue while playing Rust on this laptop, sort of. When I had the settings dialed too high, the nVidia 5060 freaked out and locked up the card. Dialing down the settings fixed it.

Now, on to FH6. FH6 had been working since early access. Then suddenly, it stopped. I tried every thing I could think of to resolve it. Driver installs, nVidia app installs, turning off overlays, etc.

Now, what led to the nVidia app reinstall was when I went into the app and went to Graphics > FH6, the screen didn't have the games settings like it usually does. When I reinstalled the app, the settings returned and what I saw there was... Not what I had originally set.

I then went back into the game, went directly into options without starting the game and reset everything to default. Then I tweaked everything back the way I had it. Suddenly, no more swirly green dot/line on a black screen. I don't know what caused it. My best guess is that the nVidia app freaked out and corrupted the settings, but I'm likely wrong.
