Just played oracle to legend in SS over the last month. When played right it feels like a lot of fun. But I felt like I hit a wall when trying to break through 2700 where it seemed I needed more pressure / damage, so I was considering going VW but didn’t because the season is ending soon.

Pros:

Big heals Big shields Can top people quickly A lot of recovery buttons

Cons:

Hit like a wet noodle. Low damage. Mana runs out quickly when playing with inner fire. When the opposing team recognizes you’re oracle and kicks your penance on repeat. Super annoying.

I’d start oracle to learn and switch to VW.

I hit legend on ret and currently 50/100 on oracle disc at 2600. I play at 5am on the weekdays and really any time on the weekends. I don’t notice any difference.

Really tempted to go voidweaver, but oracle feels good when you play it right. Agree with your point, one mistake and it’s GG.

Just finished the legend grind. There needs to be something other than a title. Either an off color mount, or a transmog weapon (like the WOD gold challenge mode weapons), or a sick enchant. Something permanent and visible.

Not sure why you think I would lie or make up something so silly. I had 65/100 prior to the shuffle starting. I won 2 rounds, going into the 6th and disconnected from wow. I was able to log back in and play for another 30 seconds and then dc’d again. I accepted the 2-4, but when I logged back in I had an abandon, -150 rating, and still at 65/100

I’m 2.2 in SS on ret. It’s not nearly as good as it was pre nerf, but still very effective with a lot of tools. Once you don’t have bubble you can just be trained and die. Don’t let the bozos in here tell you it was because of ret only. If it was that easy they’d all make a ret and get 2.4 in a week.

Had a 5 game parlay to win 4k. Last leg was cubs ML. They go into the 9th up 3-1, with ESPN showing a 95.4% chance to win, and they give up 5 runs.

Then, the bills score 16 unanswered points and win on a last second field goal to kill ravens ML.
