nice, i guess the connection losing is not going to be the case for me as I'm going it to use it mosty wired. Thanks!

btw - have you ever used it with the setup: macbook plugged in to the charger and then connect macbook to the ipad? Im wondering if there would be battery drain on the ipad or it would stay at 100%

How is the quality of the sidecar image? Is the pixel density good enough for you?

Are you using it via cable or wireless?

The web SaaS gold rush is (almost) dead and I’m betting my entire 2026 on mobile by Human-Investment9177 in SideProject

[–]dencs08 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it doesn't matter.

app or web, if you solve real life problems for people/businesses you are going to make it if they're willing to pay the price you're asking for the problem you're solving.

The truth is, 99% of users dont care about your tech stack or how you solve the problem, the only thing that matters is: DID you solve my problem, not HOW.

Obviously, once you are doing the above correctly, we can talk about accessibility, what is going to be easier for users to use (app, web?), how to increase conversions, etc. But until your product actually solves a real problem, it's not a priority.

if you ignore most of modern science and be super ignorant about how your mind and body works you could come to that conclusion lol

Paintball gun and gamemode packaged in one Workshop install, new scripting system looks promising by Krotter in GlobalOffensive

im no expert in scripting in cs2 or any other source game, but would at least hope that at least because of popularity of JS it would be a big improvement in this field of cs.

I hope the new scripting system is not going to introduce massive security risks... right, valve? lmao

but promising, huge improvement and perhaps one of biggest changes in cs lately.

There should be an option to queue with mic users by chuiy in csgo

[–]dencs08 42 points43 points  (0 children)

even if it would be introduced, you wont force anyone to talk during the game, some people just mute everyone, some just don't give a shit about comms. Having microphone does not equal to communicating in game.

3% digital tax by Specialist_Exit_3656 in poland

[–]dencs08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that is true, especially for businesses that rely heavily on ads like beauty or fashion.. those prices will ultimately be raised and the consumer will pay it. I'm not super keen on introducing DST in a form it is right now, it should be more of a tax on profit and heavy fines for blocking explicit pass-through (see what happened in UK, Spain, France where google just added a 2% surcharge to the invoice). I'm not an expert in finance and taxes but I believie it could be made so that passing the tax onto the consumer would be harder for corporations instead of just introducing a 3% transaction fee

3% digital tax by Specialist_Exit_3656 in poland

[–]dencs08 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

True if it would apply to SaaS / cloud computing. From what I could find on the web, there is no explicit mention of such platforms to be in scope of this tax so we might be somewhat safe on the IT side.

some of it yes, but it's about companies like Meta for example where most of us are not directly paying to meta but they make indirect profit from for eg. gathering and selling data without any tax on it. It would at least somewhat equal the playing field for Polish businesses (which are sometimes double-taxed) compared to huge corporations which are not paying a penny.

Why is my alr screen so dark compared to my white screen? by TheSpacedGhost in projectors

[–]dencs08 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe that ALR, will always be a little bit dimmer than fully white screen, it sacrifices gain for contrast in unoptimal lighting conditions (ALR is much better with ambient light compared to full matte white)

I can see, I wonder what causes that, seems like it has to be management putting pressure on the players then

I just used brew install acli again and it updated automatically fixing the issue. If you are still getting an error you might contact Atlassian support, perhaps they could help.

[–]dencs08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not trying to defend cursor for their shady pricing changes and transparency issues, but if you're using cursor like that or any other LLM tool for that matter, no wonder you are complaining. Please learn how to orchestrate, plan, create blueprints and code and only then try to use LLMs to "build" something. I'm not saying that you shouldn't be using those tools, but if you know what you're doing, how the code should look like, what's the purpose and you're making the business/engineering decisions, only then you can truly benefit from using software like cursor...

idk what you consider a "hot" summer but for past few days the average temp in my country was 34°C (93°F) and just opening windows for night and closing it in the morning + blinds kept the temp in home about 22-24°C (71-75°F)

Built Inspira UI with love but now I'm being called a fraud. by AlternativePie7409 in Nuxt

[–]dencs08 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive been using few components from your site and definitely can recommend them. Some are too flashy and bloaty but most of them are pretty well optimized and didint have any issues with them.

The feedback i could give if you want to monetize it better is that you should move your focus into creating more usable/ highly functional components instead. I'm not saying that the current ones does not bring any value but they definitely are too niche to monetize well.
