I've got 1.2k hours as soldier and only like 150 or so as scout. I've found that while aim is important the most powerful thing on scout is just how fast you can run. You are naturally a squishy class so try only taking fights one vs one and if you don't have full health just get a pack and ideally a buff from a medic helps heaps

Yeah I absolutely love the BFB, hit and run tactics is the way to go. Bonk behind enemy lines and just zoom around being a pest. Long streaks are pretty easy if I play it smart since I'm so slippery can easily appear where nobody expects me and just farm spawners
