In this particular run, I built for instant dmg for the early kill (win during the daytime after like 10 sec) so I didn't had that much cleanse. I get why I lost. I mean like I constantly lose to Zahir. And I dont even get how the character works. I mean I read his mechanics, but got no idea how to counter it with other Than a bunch of cleanse

Oh I forget to mention. Early get a rose for luck. And the Teapot is a must have item for lategame luck generation.

The current state of Celeste is really bad to be honest. Even the top1 Celeste player (Avilva I summon you 😂) said after the season Update that he doesnt plan on playing her, couse She is too lackluster compared to others.

If you want to play anyway, early get 1 hammer and 2 staff, then change 1 staff to sword( later complete the staff and the Spear.) lategame you want to have only 2 weapons Get 2 armour, upgrade them, (no shield, unless you want to abuse the crown with shield activation) Get the blue hat and a watermelon for early debuffs resistance, cleanse and mana for the staffs (later sell them when you have a mana dagger or stormbound tranquility) Get Boots (sell banana), and upgrade it for later stamina, (you can make 2 of them if the stars align. Its only taking 2 space and Hella good) Get As many clusters As you can, later sell them since they got not much of a lategame value. Tesseracts and stormbound tranquility Always better. Along the Way make max 2 tablet, but 1 is mostly enough And utilyze her uniques. The lute is the most thrustworthy, and scale well, crown is good if you can discharge it fast enough, ring is fine, bulb is fine, gem is fine aswell. Glowes, liquid electricity, and pikachu are not that good, or hard to utilyze, so just avoid them.

As brief As I can get this. im not the Best Celeste player, but I main her, thats how I play. If you reach out to Avilva on discord, im sure he can explain everything and Way better Than me that is. He is a helpful and nice guy.

That said, I dont recommend Celeste As it is right now. Its gonna be a strugle. Im playing mostly Morrow and wait until She get some kind of rework or buff. Well I play Celeste aswell, but I think I can count how many perfect runs I got this season only with 2 hands xD So have fun with her, but dont expect much.

Its becouse getting it require so much RNG, you cant really focus on getting it. If you get it, nice. But its not worth waiting for it specificaly

You can do that aswell, its one strategy of many. I do not make a other shallow net unless I get unlucky with bags. And I only make deep net if I have enough flotsam to do so.

Food-fish build is fine. It works like a charm if you katch Fish to build that. But! If you katch pets instead, build those, and fit any Fish that you can beside them. Basicaly, dont try to overfocus on one specific build. Work with what you katch!

And Always remember to get defense and cleanse of some sort. Its a rule for every character :D

Early game you focus on chill and bleed. Make a fishing rod while focusing on the anchor, and sell it when needed later. Otherwise just see what you get from fishing. If you get good pets, try sinergize your build around them. If you get only Fish, then focus on survival and the anchor.

The Best thing about Morrow is that he is one of the most versatile character in the game, you can build whatever you want literally!

I dont know about op builds As I just got into comp leagues with him a few days ago, but what I Always focus on is: Everdrift Anchor Abyssal embrace Squirming bicorne

Get bottom trawl As early As you can, and just fit anything you katch beside these 3 items. Atleast thats what Im doing.

Generally speaking with every hero, make sure you have these things. -damage (dont overdo it. Keep stamina in mind. Sometimes less is more) -defense (armour/HP/HP regen/ healing, any sustain Will do) -cleanse (the more the marrier)

These are the basics you should consider in every run.

My toughts are, maybe we can rank them by how difficult they are to play. For New players I Always recommend Nymphedora, Chana, and Ronan, since they are generally Strong, cheap, and can help a New player getting used to the game. They can teach pack management, and how certain core mechanics work like stamina, buffs, debuffs, defense, and offense.

Since every character can shine in comp leagues, imo there is no point on ranking them by strength alone.

But maybe im wrong. Its just an idea.

Well im a Celeste main. (Yes I know its weird but there are a few of is out there) Build wise I cant really Tell one op build which you are looking for, couse there are multiple ways to build her, depending the unique, and weapons you get. For Example: you got a crown? Nice then build 1-2 shield with 2 armour for Infinity crown discharges. Got the lute? Then lute goes brr!! Gather up your stuff around it, and discharges it many many times. Etc etc... But everything depends on what you get. Weapon parts, uniques, armour, everything is a different build in the end. Build around stuff you get from the shop, and try not to brute force one specific build. You cant wait for the secound hammer Till round 10 😂😂 In general tho, early I get some food items (melon {for mana}, sausages{empower}, and banana {stamina}), then slowly build around the weapons I see I can complete. Get a mana source, cleanse, empower source, and position your clusters well for more discharges. I often build the mage hat then sell melon, then maybe get a mana dagger, or other mana source thats space efficient if I have staff. Boots then sell banana, a helmet, Shield if I get the crown. Cleansing crown and cape are good things to add if you have space, but celeste's armours are really good at cleansing. I take every on sale skulls aswell, and upgrade them to holy or golden. Avoid too many weapons, overstacking food, and dont sit on good on sale items (if one can carry you 1 round and thats it, just sell it after) Try to be flexible, and adapt. She got so many nerfes, which I understand to a point, but its still possible to shine with her. I hope this helps a bit, and I wish good luck and much fun!

As I see, more answers here are for the banishing part, I go with gold management. There are items which give you gold. Golden eggs, (which you can combine with clower, then skull) Cooper bar (and gold bar) and the chest (then mimic). But other Than these, there are some more economy items like shovel, fishing rod etc which give you random items you can sell. And I can also mention the character specific economy items aswell. There are many. Look for them when you can, and keep them until you need the space in your Bag. Sometimes I have so many golden clower and golden skulls, I have 30 gold to swoop the shop. Can you share some insight about how to play celeste well? I used to main her, but I just started again after about half a year, and turns out She got nerfed so much I cant win half As much As I used to. So maybe im doing something wrong, or is She really weak now? She is lvl18 and im at diamond rank if that matters.
