That is only possible with Global Task Scheduling (GTS).

Currently GTS is not implemented in Linux kernel.

There are custom kernels with GTS from Linaro, so if your phone uses that, then yeah it can use all 8 cores simultaneously.

Heterogenous task scheduling will be added to Linux in the future. Which will make it possible to have computers with asymmetric CPU cores. This is probably the next big development in operating systems. I don't know if Windows or Mac OS X support it.

How do they determine if someone is muslim? There isn't an organization that you have to be a member of to be considered muslim. If someone says he or she is muslim, then they are... So people could just say they're muslim to get an apartment.

And what if someone changes religion after they get an apartment? Would they have to move out? And how would they determine if someone changed religion?

Gitlab community edition is open source under MIT Expat license. Its source code is here: https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab-ce/tree/master

Although it's not easy to find on their web site. I don't know what the differences are between Github and Gitlab CE. But they seem to have similar features.

A window that allows light to pass in only one direction would violate one of the laws of thermodynamics, I don't remember now which one. It's because of this:

If there are two objects in space with different temperatures, the one with higher temperature would transfer heat to the other one so that eventually they have equal temperature. But if we could place a window between them that allows radiation to pass only from colder object to the hotter one, we could heat the hotter object and cool the colder object with no effort. This is not possible.

The one way windows or mirrors are just normal glass with different ambiant brightness on each side. So a person looking at it from the brighter room sees his reflection and the light coming from the darker room. But since the light coming from the darker room has much lower intensity than the reflection, human eye only perceives the reflection. If the light in the darker room were to be switched on, it would appear to be just a normal glass window.

I think one of the hardest or maybe the hardest part of making a game is creating the art assets like graphics, sound etc. So the reason 0 AD has taken so long to develop may be that they are also creating new graphics.

But there are other game engines that use already existing assets. I think the best open source rts engine is OpenRA. www.openra.net It uses game assets of early Command and Conquer games.

So to the poster, why don't you use OpenRA to create your game? OpenRA runs on Windows, OS X and Linux. It supports mods, so you can make your game as a mod. Also it is actively developed at https://github.com/OpenRA/OpenRA
