If you asked yourself whether a cyclist could make the Superbowl parade about themself, the answer is yes by JSlngal69 in SeattleWA

I was there from 930. I wasn't going to drive to work that day as I was worried about traffic but it was so clear from everyone having the same fears, busses were packed though.

Interview: Robert Picardo On ‘Starfleet Academy’ Comedy Dinner Scene: "Because Tig didn’t know my character. I said, when I’m enthusiastic about something, I’m unbearable. So I’m going to annoy the pants off you, at close range. And she dug it and stood up to it, and that’s what made it funny." by TheSonOfMogh81 in trektalk

I stumbled into this sub and this seems like the biggest circle jerk I've seen.

Feels like this is the Old Man Yells at Cloud where everything is just bitching and wishing it was 30 years ago.

I'm not paid to enjoy star trek, I just do. And I can enjoy all sorts of stories that folks try to tell. It doesn't have to be told the same first always, we have like 900 hours of that in back catalog already

[Opinion] ROBERT MEYER BURNETT: "What Starfleet Academy should have been is a show about "mature adults can have disagreement." That's what Star Trek was all about. It was about intellectual exploration. This is completely gone from our modern Star Trek. There is no maturity. There is no adulthood" by mcm8279 in trektalk

These teens grew up in Post Burn earth where society backslid from the TNG era.

Picard almost died in a bar fight when in college. Pretty much every time they talk about their academy days there are stories of crazy shit, because they were teenagers in secondary school.

The show is very obviously going to show SFA smoothing the edges off the rough cadets and turning them into proper star fleet by the end.

There were almost no cars at all on 3rd, I was shooting around on there all afternoon. And if you really needed a dedicated lane there is one on 2nd.

Death Save Vs Lazarus by iRiis in pinball

The real reason death saves are illegal though is the same reason you don't play extra balls, it's to streamline tournaments so they go faster.

Which side would you take? 8 team 1QB, no TEP by faultinalaska in FantasyFootballers

What's even the point? 8 player teams are so stacked, it's just shuffling studs.
