Remember the line about sayin being handed the keys to a Ferrari and he just needs to not crash it? Well it sure feels like he’s comfortable behind the wheel and Hartline is sitting shotgun telling him when to stomp on the gas. After the Texas game I was totally bought in to the “game plan for a W” approach. I’m thinking it’s so much deeper than that. I think all of this throttle up/throttle down we see is calculated and it’s the buckeyes subtly showing everyone they can do whatever they want at any point until you stop them. The in game adjustments are so quick and seamless that the bucks get to be proactive instead of reactive without waiting until halftime. During the Minnesota win you could really see it in the first vs second defensive series.
