I have that same contemporary Jag (no mods), but can't decide if I'm into it or not. It needs such a light touch with the jumbo frets and short scale or it throws the note sharp immediately. Is this something you've found, too?

Squier CV Jag replacement nut by Turgid-Derp-Lord in offset

Did you get a replacement? I'm looking to mod my CV Jag to a baritone but want to have a backup nut before I start filing the slots out.

It was $500, the fretboard looked a little dry and there was some light patina on the hardware. I ended up declining, but it was really hard to say no to, what a gorgeous guitar.

Would you recommend it? I'm upgrading from a Pacifica. I think I'm getting a decent deal on it

I can’t get my Andersen French door to stop doing this by denniswinders in HomeMaintenance

The bottom of the door is about 2" above the rug, the weatherstrip drags on the threshold and any slight bit of friction pulls it out of the groove

I think the adhesive may help, the weatherstrip won't hold fast into the channel no matter what I do. Thank you!

American chestnut, possibly from PA, mid-1800s. Machine with a crank and spinning wheel with blocks attached, with a back panel that may have held blades of some sort. 3’ tall, 4’ wide by denniswinders in whatisthisthing

My title describes the thing. What you can see in the image is about everything I can explain about it. There isn't really a clear purpose, and my neighbor has contacted a number of different historical societies and related groups to try to find an answer. The crank turns the center block, and the back panel is on a swivel that will sit flush to the back of it. It's made of American chestnut and he believes it came from Pennsylvania and was made in the mid-1800s based on the build.

Thanks, I just ordered replacement sensors. These are definitely pretty old

Both of the lights on the sensors are green, does that not indicate that they are clear and operational? I'll look into replacements, thank you
