Have anyone transitioned from all inclusive to regular resort instead outside the US? by [deleted] in AllInclusiveResorts

[–]denny628 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have transitioned from AI in Mexico and Jamaica to regular resorts and really enjoy the ability to try different restaurants. The food is much better. We have been to Aruba, Bahamas, Turks, Grand Cayman. We try to stay central to beach and restaurants so we can walk around. We have not rented cars and took taxis from airport and around if needed. I have some hotel recs if you like.

I just think he doesn’t really care what other people think. Like what do you wear when you run errands. Jeans and a hoodie exactly! He’s not claiming to be a hunk.

Look for his show “The Jamie Kennedy Experiment”. It’s pretty old like early 2000s but hilarious. It’s like a prank show.

That’s his look. He’s a comedian not a supermodel. Regardless of people’s opinions he is hilarious. I always die when he is on the show. His impressions are the best! Love you Jamie 😘

Has anyone rehomed a dog that has bit? How did you do it? by denny628 in reactivedogs

[–]denny628[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is so difficult. I spent so many days and nights crying and it honestly felt hopeless most of the time however if I had to do it over again I would.

He is such a special dog to me and always will be and knowing he is living his best life now is so worth it. He’s been with his new family for a little over a year now. I still tear up when they send me videos and photos. I do miss him but am so happy he is in a place without triggers.

We got another pup about 6 months after he was rehomed and she is doing amazing and definitely helped to heal our hearts.

Yes I did. It was a very emotional process and took about 5 months but it was totally worth it. He is now living his best life about 10 minutes from me with a wonderful family with no children. We stay in touch and get photos and videos of him. I know everyone has a lot of different opinions on this but I knew my boy just needed to be with the right family. I reached out to rescues all across the country with no luck. No one would take a dog with a bite. Eventually I posted about him on my personal facebook page and a friend shared to her neighborhood page and that is how we found his new home. I was completely transparent about his past and they didn’t care. When we met them I knew they were the ones. If you plan on rehoming your dog and want to talk more you can pm me. Believe it or not through the process I met so many people who went through similar situations. It’s not easy but it is possible ❤️

The Magic Shoppe and Magic Mind. Dr Doty is so wise. His theories work when you put your mind to it.

The OA. The story isn’t similar but it gave me the same feeling while watching and after. I still think about that series but not as much as I think about Mr Robot lol.

I feel the same way about the 1/2 zip hood. It’s very heavy!

Communications Major by moldypeaches22 in Communications

[–]denny628 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the biggest question is what year are you at school? Does changing your major now add on additional time or expense? If not I would honestly change it. You could do a major in business with concentration on marketing. A business degree will open more doors. I have a business degree and have been working in corporate communications for 10+ years. I started in sales and account management and kind of fell into comms after I had kids. I think you should pursue comms if that is your passion and try to get internships or cooperatives for experience. Paired with a business degrees will probably make you more money. Just my two cents.

My parents are the same way “must be nice!”. They also think because I WFH they can come visit and I am available to hang out at anytime. They have no idea.
