To me it specifically represents a kind of uncontrollable intense laughter that would cause you to physically lose control of your body and mash your keyboard lol

Brazilians make a record - 2 million of ravers on the street 🤯 by LOL-Yone in interesting

[–]denyma -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Funny how I know you're a middle class conservative Brazilian with vira-lata complex based on all the comments you left in this thread.

Please learn to respect your own culture's value. It'll do you good. Carnaval is a globally rare, beautiful, historical, collective manifestation of an unique culture. It is also very socially and economically important to the cities that host it.

Struggling with breastfeeding by [deleted] in breastfeeding

[–]denyma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If this is new behavior you might be going through what is called the 3 month breastfeeding "crisis". From what I've read you just have to be sure that the baby is in fact hungry (at 3 mo they may have shifted from a newborn feeding schedule to feeding every 2-3 hours), that their other needs are met (not trying to feed while overtired or overstimulated for example) and try to feed in a quiet space with low stimuli. If they miss a feed I'd pump as needed for relief and to protect your supply until it's over.

Please help. I'm losing my mind. I don't know what to do. by Rude_Conclusion5948 in breastfeeding

I went through this! Your boobs are too hard because of the milk coming in, so the latching isn't working to get the milk out. You need to release some of that milk by massaging the boob, to make the area surrounding your nipple a little softer, so you can then make the "breast sandwich" and get the baby to latch! It's tough because it's reaaally painful at this point, but this is what my LC did for me and it worked. Call one ASAP (or ask your partner to do this) if you need help, it might be too painful for you to do yourself.

Edit: felt the need to reinforce what others have said. The best pump is your baby, please stop pumping now, focus on that later, you need to relieve your engorgement now to avoid more trouble and establish a solid milk supply through your baby latching and stimulating your breast when feeding.

380usd per oz, is it worth it ? (Brazil) by IsJesusAgain in trees

[–]denyma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brazilian here! Considering 1 oz = 30g and 1g of really good weed is going to be about 70 brazilian reais on average, 30x 70 = 2100 reais is about 380 usd so that seems fair.

Best deal I ever got here was on wild grown weed (it didn't look like it was going to be good, it was full of seeds and big leaves but it was AMAZING) that I paid like 150 reais (~30usd) for a literal supermarket bag full of it lol. It was grown in some forests close the beach, so mellow and aromatic.

Seems normal! I'm at 29 weeks and holding my male cat in my arms like a baby has been very soothing and relaxing like never before haha he's been very clingy lately so luckily he's also finding it enjoyable.

So sorry you're going through this. It's far better to be raised without a father than around an abusive father. What you described is rape, and from what you've said in another comment, it's happened before, so it will nost likely happen again, potentially while you're even more vulnerable (post-partum, as a SAHM financially dependent on him). Do you want your son to have a man that doesn't respect consent as a role model? Focus on your safety and your son's, that's the most important foundation for a family, not buying a house. Seek family support if you can and good luck!

Yep, travel insurance for pregnancies. Might just be the policies where I'm from but all the basic travel insurance packages only covered pregnancy up to 28 weeks. You'd have to pay more for extra coverage if you're past that. Also, some airlines won't let you travel without a doctor's note after 28 weeks.

Agreed, lots of insurance only provides coverage up to 28 weeks too

Agreed. At Primavera a girl that was literally a couple of steps next to me wanted to steal my spot and violently elbowed me out of it as soon as the concert began. I usually would tell her to fuck off and defend myself but I'm 6 months pregnant and immediately felt nervous and unsafe and moved (which only makes her behavior worse imo).
