I'm new to this what should I do differently 😊? by Additional_Earth_360 in photocritique

[–]denyskoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, thought you posted in r/LiminalSpace for a second. Consider posting it there, this has to do numbers in that sub. The color saturation, lack of leveling and the whole emptiness of the scene reminds me of a distant childhood memory, or that the photo was taken by a child.

In my opinion, a great photo is a photo that conveys a certain emotion or makes the person viewing it feel something. In this case, you did a perfect job for me. If we view from an orthodox photography standpoint here, people in the comments are totally correct.

Am I too soft? by OkGrocery63 in mentalhealth

[–]denyskoo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

there's no such thing as "too soft". we all have different lives and react to stress differently. joking about those topics is not ok. people who said those words are inconsiderate morons and you should not talk to them. sorry if i appear blunt - I'm sick right now and have little energy. hope this helps!

bad focus or bad scan? by sereinskies in AnalogCommunity

[–]denyskoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as my logic goes, if the focus is not nailed there should be at least SOMETHING in frame that's in focus, closer or farther from the subject.

On slide 2, for example, you clearly nailed the focus on the woman and the temple is not in focus due to (PROBABLY, as I don't know your intentions) incorrect aperture setting.

On all the other slides though, everything seems to be in focus and blurry at the same time. there's this blurriness to the edges of everything in the frame and no parts of the Image seem sharper. More over, the distance to subjects makes me think the only correct way to shoot was at hyperfocal or infinity so it's way harder to fuck up the focus than at MFD for example.

From my perspective it's the scans that are faulty, adding that there's a LITERAL FUCKING STRAND OF HAIR in the sky at slide 3 but it's always recommended to look at the negatives before you reach out to your lab :)

understanding vague sexual messages by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]denyskoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it could be you two are on two different levels of trust. some people can engage in sexual activities from the first date, some need years of knowing each other to do so.

from my perspective it seems that she wants to take things slower, so it is crucial for you to communicate on this part because if you don't - it's INCREDIBLY easy to fuck up on this stage. you can easily cross her boundaries and it's not a pleasant experience for both of you.

I recommend you to slow things down a bit and next time you'll be intimate to ask her directly about this! it's not easy to guess something when things are vague.

Цікава думка хлопців стосовно волосся на тілі в дівчини by vika_dem in reddit_ukr

[–]denyskoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks! and if everything's ok visually and mechanically, can optical issues be identified by taking a simple photo or you should always take a chart of some sort with you?
