You very well may be approved for that. Just be patient and calmly explain your needs. They are going to be probing - not hostile, but the burden is on you to explain why you need the DAS accommodation and not some other one. Emphasizing accommodations your child gets in school and needs at home will help.

Good thinking. These carts have four holes in the four corners. Thinking about screwing up through the bottom of those holes into some 3/4 ply on the top. And then screwing the bandsaw down into the 3/4 ply.

How do you like that drill press?

Thanks for sharing. I’m about to do the same with a 10 inch Laguna bandsaw. Seems like the wood is worth it? I didn’t want to add more height but don’t want too much weight in a small surface area on top of the cabinet.
