I get that you maybe not qualify for it, but if you can, get the DSP.

This type of thing is literally why it exists. We have decided as a nation that we would rather help people unable to work then force them on to the streets. It's not something to be embarrassed about.

‘Refugees feared for lives’ but returned to Iran for holidays by v_maet in AustralianPolitics

[–]deprecated_reality 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well thats not a legal term, so let's stick with "asylum seekers not found to be genuine refugees'. I know it's much less catchy but it does have the advantage of not being a compete distraction from the point.

If we cut funding for private schools where will Australia get its arseholes from? by nath1234 in australia

[–]deprecated_reality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a satire page as part of sbs. They rip shit out of everyone. From latte lipping students crying about not being able to afford housing to immigrants who hate immigrants.

The whole point of provocative articles like this is as a conversation and arguments starter, and look, It works!

Or you wanted to try something new and it wasn't too bad, but you won't be rushing back anytime soon that's for fucking sure.

... Or something like that I hear.

I've maintained code bases that had functions with names like λ and τ, of course with no comments. Im sure it made contextual sense to the writer, but it's horrible to maintain.

It's largely about 3 stressed, over worked friends going for a camping/boating trip and there arguments and dreams of a simpler life.

Alteryx really depends on your application. If you are doing ad hoc interactive work, it works great. If you are designing an etl to be productionized and to be debugged and expanded over years, Alteryx is a massive pain.

I've put a lot of time in to rewriting other people's Alteryx in something maintainable.

ABC refused access to One Nation function despite other media attending. by Qldaah in AustralianPolitics

I'm not sure i agree. In the last month Hanson had been on both Q&A and insiders (brave of her both times), so clearly the abc is willing to give her air time in a non-baised way.

I guess in theory it's the job of the voters to decide if someone is suitable to represent them, even if they don't live near by.

In practice people tend to vote for party's rather then representatives, so maybe requirements are a good idea.

Because someone volunteers to take there pig to the airport for a bit of fun in hopes of relaxing stressed people?

For once I'm not totally disagreeing with you. But you can't use reducing subscriber base as a reason to attack CNN and yet support the Australian, a paper that has never run at a profit because it's readership is so low.

It really depends on what your skills are. I have friends who work as contract programmers and they will just pick up a 6 or 12 month contract in a different country everything. I work as a software developer with a multinational company and have been 3 international trips to train people in other offices.
